| At Family Action Network, we believe in the power of community to create lasting change. Today, we’re excited to introduce a pilot launch of our In-Home Child Respite service, created to provide meaningful support and rest for caregivers in our community. For the next 3–4 weeks, the program will be available in Castlegar only while we begin small and ensure everything runs smoothly for families. A trained respite support worker will come to your home for a 2-hour visit so caregivers can rest, run errands, or recharge. This is a limited pilot running until June 1st, with booking times opening weekly. We plan to expand to Trail & Rossland in March as additional volunteers return and new volunteers join the program.
