| At Family Action Network, we believe in the power of community to create lasting change. Today, we’re excited to introduce the pilot launch of our In-Home Child Respite Service, created to provide meaningful support and rest for caregivers in our community. This respite program will initially be available in Castlegar and Rossland while we begin small and ensure everything runs smoothly for families. A trained Respite Support Worker will come to your home for a 2-hour visit, allowing caregivers time to rest, run errands, or recharge. This is a limited pilot running until June 1st, with booking times opening weekly. We plan to expand to Trail as additional volunteers return and new volunteers join the program. In the meantime, families in Trail are encouraged to sign up for our wait-list.
