Are you passionate about youth engagement, creativity, and community connection? The Family Action Network (FAN) is hiring for two exciting roles to support our work with young people across the Lower Columbia region.

1. Youth Project Assistant – Inclusive Communities: Advancing Youth Wellness

This is a casual temporary role perfect for someone aged 15–25 looking to make a difference. You’ll support creative workshops and events for kids ages 9–13, helping them explore what belonging means to them through art, storytelling, and photography.

  • Location: Trail, Rossland, Fruitvale, and surrounding communities

  • Hours: Up to 102 hours total (Sept 2025–Spring 2026)

  • Wage: $25/hour

This role is flexible, youth-friendly, and doesn’t require formal experience—just a willingness to learn and connect with others. Training and mentorship will be provided!

2. Youth Action Network (YAN) Coordinator – Rossland

We’re also looking for a dynamic part-time Youth Coordinator to lead youth-led programs and activities through the Rossland Youth Action Network. This position is ideal for someone with experience working with youth and community programming.

  • Location: Rossland, BC

  • Hours: 20 hrs/week (Sept–June)

  • Wage: $33/hour

  • Start date: August 25, 2025

The Coordinator will plan programs, support youth leadership, and maintain a safe, welcoming space for youth to connect and thrive. Strong communication, coordination, and facilitation skills are key.

3. Project Coordinator – Primary Years

The Family Action Network (FAN) of the Lower Columbia Society requires a community minded individual for the part time position of Project Coordinator – Community Connections & Primary Years, for a 12 month-long period.  

  • Location: Lower Columbia Region, BC

  • Hours: 8 hrs/week/flexible/hybrid (August 2025–July 2026)

  • Wage: $33/hour

  • Start date: August 1, 2025

The FAN Board of Directors is looking for a personable, innovative professional with an understanding of project management and communications to lead a new community-based initiative focused on improving outcomes for children aged 7–12 and their families.
