At times, all parents feel lost about their child’s needs. Imagine what it feels like to know what your child is asking of you, and know how to respond.
Kootenay Family Place is pleased to be offering another 8-week parenting course in the Trail region coming up in October. By request, this program is being offered in the evening to accommodate working parents’ schedules.
The goals of this 8-week program are to:
- Understand your child’s behavior by learning to read his/her emotional needs
- Support your child’s ability to manage emotions
- Honour your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure.
Join trained facilitators Julia Stockhausen and Sherry Tolman for this 8-week series. The program takes place on Wednesdays at the Trail CBAL Office at 1160 Cedar Avenue from 6:30pm to 8:15pm. There is a cost of $50 for the program (with subsidies available). This program is open to anyone with children between the ages of 6 months to 12 years.
