Show your support for the Family Action Network this summer by enjoying ice cream with your family!

Ice scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Scoops for Kids is a new fundraising event for the Family Action Network (FAN) and will take place twice this summer. The Family Action Network is an active network of people who understand the importance of early childhood development, and who work together in the Lower Columbia to make our region the best place to raise a family.

With the kind support of Mayor Patricia Cecchini, who will park her ice cream trailer in front of Ferraro Foods, we will be scooping and serving ice cream to the whole family Wednesday, June 20th between 11-6pm and again Wednesday July 18th. All proceeds after costs will be donated to FAN.

FAN has been most active in recent years promoting the importance of childhood development and partnering with local service providers to offer Ages and Stages Days and Check Early, Check Often centres. They also maintain the online resource hub for families and are behind the EZ PZ family friendly washroom initiative.

Bring the whole family and indulge your sweet tooth for a great cause.
