As a parent, has the COVID 19 Pandemic have you feeling overwhelmed, stressed and uncertain?  Is your child displaying unusual behaviours and/or seems anxious and confused about the new normal?  The BC Children’s Hospital Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre has some great resources for families to help with stress and anxiety during this time. Their webpage provides tips on dealing with social isolation for children and teens, free stories for younger children to help explain COVID 19, and much more.

As a parent you can also reach out to the Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre if you would like more information about mental health resources, peer to peer connections or assistance navigating your child’s mental health during this time. You can contact them by phone at 1-800-665-1822 or email keltycentre@cw.bc.ca.

Check out their COVID 19 webpage for great tools to help both you and your child.
