Coming hot on the heels of the opening of the first Easy Peezy Family Washroom site in downtown Trail at the CBAL office last month, Rossland now has its own location at the newly renovated Public Library. “We are thrilled to have more organizations jumping at the chance to come on board with this initiative,” says Christy Anderson of the Family Action Network. “Local parents identified the need for more family washrooms as part of a survey FAN did in 2012. We continue to partner with organizations, businesses and funders to establish a network of family washrooms throughout our region in response to this parent-driven request.”

The Easy Peezy initiative provides family washrooms in the downtown areas of our local communities that are clean, safe and furnished with the needed equipment for your youngest family members. Local parents are thrilled with the availability of dedicated family washrooms.

Easy Peezy sites are marked with a decal on the door so that when a parent, grandparent or caregiver sees the Easy Peezy logo, they know they can bring their little ones in to that location and use the washroom, without having to be a customer or attending a program.

More locations will be unveiled as additional Easy Peezy sites are established in Warfield and other Lower Columbia communities.

The two Easy Peezy locations are:
CBAL Office in downtown Trail – 1160 Cedar Avenue, Trail, BC

Rossland Public Library – 2180 Columbia Avenue, Rossland, BC

FAN is actively seeking partnerships with businesses and organizations that would like to become Easy Peezy hosts. Interested businesses or organizations can contact FAN Coordinator Christy Anderson at 1-855-368-3707.
