Organized by a local parent, this workshop features resources & knowledge to help kids with higher needs.
If you are a parent to, or are an educator of, uniquely different children this workshop will provide insight into different perspectives and local resources available to help understand how to help and support children with higher needs.
Organized by local parent Helen Bobbitt, this workshop plans to provide information for the residents of the Lower Columbia Region which will highlight the amazing resources and perspectives regarding our higher needs children. It will demonstrate how we can help our young people be supported and understood so they achieve their personal growth.
This workshop is different as it features local professionals who are amazing community resources sharing insights and perspectives. Participants will have a chance to peer connect with parents and educators and other people who may have a child with higher needs in their life.
Light snacks and lunch included for this full-day workshop. Certificates will be provided for educators and educational assistants. Please register before Oct 18th, 2017 (see below for registration info).
