Generous donations and ice cream sales raise funds for FAN! Last week, the Scoops for Kids Fundraiser raised over $1100 for the Family Action Network (FAN). FAN is an active network of people who support families with pre-school aged children and who work together with service providers to help make our region the best place to raise a family.
With generous donations from Ferraro Foods and from Patricia Cecchini’s Dutchman Dairy Ice Cream Trailer, the funds raised will stay in the Lower Columbia region and support project such as EZ PZ family-friendly washrooms, Ages and Stages early development check-up days and to continue to support the online parent resource hub, familyactionnetw.wpstagecoach.com.
The folks of FAN are very grateful to Danny and the Ferraro Foods family and Patricia Cecchini. We’re grateful to all of you who had the very difficult task of purchasing and eating ice cream in support of our organization. Scoops for Kids will be back again at Ferraro Foods on Wednesday, July 18th. See you then!
